Michelle Hollier, our Director of Research and Evaluation, has recently had an article published in the latest edition of The Evaluator which recapped the UK Evaluation Society Annual Conference that took place in May 2019.
The article, which can be downloaded here, described the panel session delivered by members of the steering group for the UKES Midlands Regional Network on issues and opportunities relating to innovation in evaluation; ‘Diversity of Methodology: a debate on modern evaluation methods’.
We live in a world of constant change, where skill sets can become obsolete in just a few years. Professionals need to consistently upgrade and develop themselves. The panel session reflected on the implications of this for the evaluation community with thoughts emerging with regards to our role as evaluators.
We look forward to continuing the discussion at events for the Midlands Regional Network; please do join us (further details are on the UKES website).
