Our approach provides a comparative analysis of the college's overall performance results with a chosen peer group - using a 'balanced scorecard' covering the spread of college activities including: Teaching, Teaching support, Facilities Management and Enterprise. Our belief is that benchmarking is as much about practice as it is about performance. Whilst simply understanding the relative performance of any college against a range of others is no doubt valuable, there is much more benefit that can be derived from getting behind the numbers to the practices, strategies and leadership methods that drive that performance.
